~ Direct import from Japan
Eriko Sato is a Japanese sculptor, alias "Kazenoko" 「風の呼」.
In Japanese, 「呼」 and 「子」 are pronounced the same as "ko". "Kazenoko" means the child can laugh happily even in the cold wind.
Eriko Sato hoped to wake up our inner lives with her art pieces.
Starting from Year 2003, Eriko Sato learnt scupturing from 大泉國雄氏 in Yasouan 「野草庵」 in Yamagata.
She likes using stone and wild plants in her creative items. Those Jizo Bodhisattva miniatures always have smiles on their faces, just like blessing everyone to be happy in their lives.
