The Story
Inspired by the passing of my grandfather, I began carving as a way to commemorate him and wish for his rebirth into a good path. Through daily devotion to carving a small Ksitigarbha, it became a personal practice. Each stroke of carving brings one into the present moment, and every second stroke is a dialogue of letting go and rebirth. It is a journey of learning to accept impermanence and finding liberation from suffering. May the merit of this work be universally shared with all beings, so that we may all achieve Buddhahood together.
