Do you think board games are just for entertainment?
"The Path to Buddhahood" goes beyond simple fun — it's not about racing to become Buddha the fastest. Instead, by experiencing and contemplating the cycle of samsara through gameplay, it naturally conveys the meaning of Buddhist practice.
Every roll of the dice symbolizes an external cause and condition. Whether the outcome leads to heaven or hell, or favorable or adverse circumstances, it serves as an opportunity to observe and reflect on your current mind. Thus, each dice roll is a form of resetting and practicing mindfulness.
🎲 Let's learn to reset ourselves through the game — starting from zero!
This Board game originated over 400 years ago, adapted from a folk game called "Selecting Officials" by the Ming monk Master. Su Bong Zen Monastery combines modern lifestyles with this ancient tradition, presenting a simplified version that allows players to learn Buddhist principles through play — experiencing the practice of Saha world, ultimately transcending samsara and stepping onto the path to enlightenment.
